Obsessing, but let me do it anyways

So today I ran for president of the Student Alumni Council and I was not elected.  I'm upset because I thought I had a good chance of winning and when voting, I decided not to vote for myself.  And the person I did vote for won even though I don't feel like she would be a good president.  I don't know why I voted the way I did and I am more mad at myself for not voting how I truly felt about the organization.  So if I obsess, I am more angry with myself than with other people out there.  I think everyone should be honest when they vote, or they should not vote at all.  I guess that is why I don't vote for any governmental elections.  I have no idea about politics and I feel that I should not vote if I am not an educated voter.  Honestly, political issues do not bother me that much.  I feel that no matter what the law is for my country, I am going to follow it because that is what I am supposed to do.  If a ridiculous law came up that I don't agree with, then I would educate myself with politics and try to get that law changed.  I don't want to say that I don't care because I think the government is important and everything.  However, I feel that I am not qualified to make decisions for a government because I have no knowledge or experience.

Anyways, the gist of all this is be honest when you vote.  Don't vote for someone because they are popular and everyone else likes them. Have your own opinion about people and vote based on that.  And if you have no knowledge or experience with some issue, then don't vote at all.  Thanks and have a good night.

Frustration

I am really frustrated right now.  I hate it when people say they are going to do something and then they don't do it.  And I hate it even more when they don't even give a good reason for failing to do what they say they are going to do.  What happened to people being generous?  What has happened where people aren't willing to help their friends out?  Why is it so difficult to work with other people?  Why is this time of the year so incredibly crazy?  I hate this!  I hate not being on top of things and having to rely on other people.  I hate group projects and I am just starting to get sick of people.  What I need is to spend some good, quality time with God and the Christians around me.  I like being around people who are generous and kind and caring.  I don't like being around selfish, immature people.  I am starting to get fed up with people and I don't like it.  Gah!  Maybe I'm upset because I am not allowing myself to eat desserts and I am craving something sweet.  I don't know.  I feel like sitting alone in my room and refusing to talk to people.  Bah!

Relay for Life

Hey everyone~
As most of you may know, I am doing Relay for Life again this year.  For my fundraiser, I am selling pink ribbons for a dollar.  If you would like to purchase one, please come see me.  I will be taking donations until the day of Relay for Life, which is April 13th at 6pm.  Also, in my bathroom, I have a jar where I am collecting spare change.  If you have any spare change you would like to give, feel free to put it in the jar in the bathroom.  I will be emptying it each night to tally how much money people donate.  Thank you so much for your contributions and if you are also doing Relay for Life, I will see you there!!!!!!!!

Internship

I talked to someone in the corporate office at Panera and I will be interning with Panera this summer. I'm excited because I will be both working in the store and in the office.  This way I will get to see my work buddies and get to learn more about Panera at the same time.  I'm soooo excited!

Relay For Life

Hey people!

I am doing Relay for Life this year with the Student Alumni Council.  If you would like to donate to my team, just let me know.  Any amount will help the American Cancer Society do cancer research.  With the research, we can find a cure for cancer!  I have a website link for online donations, but I don't have it right now.  Once I get it, I will post it.  Thanks!
